Make-up and Hair Artist Steph Scott always brings to set or studio a passion for moving the southern concept of beauty forward with a a simplistic yet fashion forward aesthetic.
With years under her belt as a professionally-trained performer, in such cities as Chicago, Baltimore and Atlanta, it is her love for the stage that has helped to train Steph's eye for aesthetics. In 2008, Steph hung up her stage shoes for a blending brush . . . and hasn't looked back since. Shortly after that, she upped her game and began studies to add "master cosmetologist" to her resume.
While maintaining top honors and holding her spot at the top of her Cosmetology class, she also earned the title of gold medalist for the state of Georgia's SkillsUsa Postsecondary Conference in the area of Esthetics. She then continued on to earn the 2013 silver medal at the 49th SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference competition in the same category. Steph was honored also by being selected as one of the Final Four finalist in her school's annual Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) competition, which recognizes and rewards excellence among students enrolled in postsecondary technical colleges in the state of Georgia. Steph has also earned certification as a Pravana™ Master Hair Colorist.
With all of that behind her now, the performer-turned-makeup-and-hair-artist-turned-cosmetologist is continuing to create quite a name for herself, solidifying her place amongst the growing MUHA community within the southeast United States region. Steph works primarily within the metro Atlanta area but is available to travel for a variety of bookings, both locally, regionally and nationally.
